Kunkel Joins Chamber Staff
Paul Kunkel of Aurora has joined the Chamber staff as Assistant to the President.
Besides his involvement in Chamber initiatives, he will work with Chamber President Mike Rozow on certain activities of the Dearborn County Economic Development Initiative and the Redevelopment Commission.
“The Chamber provides a wide range of benefits and services for our members, and we want to do a better job helping members understand how to make use of what we offer,” said Rozow. “We want to increase our outreach so we are better able to develop programs that address the issues that our members are facing.”
Kunkel, 37, earned an associate’s degree in Civil Engineering at Cincinnati State and later graduated with distinction earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Indiana University.
He has held positions with Matrixx Marketing, Restaurant Management Inc., B.L. Payne and Associates and most recently Land Consultants of Lawrenceburg, where he was a design technician and crew chief.
Kunkel and his wife Sue have four children. He is active in community volunteer activities and is President of the St. John Lutheran School PTL, a role that includes year-round interaction with local businesses seeking their support.
