Dearborn County’s road system includes 8 state highways and 2 U.S. highways. I-275 enters Indiana near Lawrenceburg and offers easy connection to I-71 and I-75. At the northern end of the county, I-74 connects us with Indianapolis to the west and Cincinnati to the east.

We have 9 sewer facilities, 7 water companies, 4 electric companies, 3 gas companies, and 4 telephone companies. Each township in the county has its own fire department, while there are also 7 police locations and a county sheriff’s office.
